Parole board accuses 65-year-old Leslie that she craves attention. With more than 40 years of therapy, Leslie is told she should "explore herself "
"You've done everything you can to attract attention to yourself. And it's clear to this Panel that you have not yet explored what it is about you specifically that has caused you to crave attention and so that trait in you, craving attention, does not create an obstacle for you in the future."
Quoted by Jeffrey Ferguson, directly from the transcript of Leslie's last parole hearing back in 2013. Ferguson was a commissioner at the hearing- making several accusations about Leslie, like this one.
So according to the commissioner, Leslie who was 63 at the time, was denied five years to explore The trait within her that apparently causes Leslie to be a hard-core attention seeker.
Or is it, that perhaps some "attention" is exactly what Leslie needs. One could just as easily suspect that the discouragement of attention toward "Leslie" would be more of a tactic to diverse attention from such a bogus accusation.
